Abstract

This study examines the rapid development of culinary businesses in Ngawi Regency, which is marked by the increasing number of culinary businesses, especially in the snack sector. Increasingly tight competition between businesses requires business actors to innovate so that the products offered can satisfy consumers and encourage repeat purchases. One of the initiatives carried out is the development of micro-businesses for housewives in Dawu Village, Paron District, as an effort to empower the family economy. This development aims to help housewives utilize their free time with productive activities that generate additional income. With a sharing experience approach, this activity went well even though the enthusiasm of the participants was still limited. The results of the development are expected to encourage people to innovate in small businesses, increase productivity, and take advantage of snack market opportunities that have a wide segment. This study also highlights the importance of understanding consumer preferences so that marketed snack products can compete and be in demand by various groups.
