UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA APARATUR PEMERINTAH DESA MELALUI PENERAPAN COMPUTERASSISTED TEST (CAT) DALAM UJIAN CALON PERANGKAT DESA

Abstract

The availability of qualified and professional human resources is an important factor in supporting the realization of good governance, including at the village government level. One strategic effort to obtain competent village officials is through an objective, transparent, and accountable selection process. This community service activity aims to describe the implementation of a Computer Assisted Test-based village apparatus examination in Rejuno Village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency, as an innovation in the village apparatus recruitment process. The implementation method includes the preparation of a question bank, technical and administrative preparations, and the administration of a Computer Assisted Test-based written examination. The community service team from Soerjo University compiled 500 questions that were validated and managed in a Computer Assisted Test system, which were then used to produce 100 exam questions that were administered to participants. The results of the activity show that the implementation of the Computer Assisted Test ran smoothly, safely, and orderly without any significant technical obstacles. The Computer Assisted Test system is capable of increasing time efficiency, minimizing the potential for cheating, and ensuring transparency and objectivity in assessment. Thus, the implementation of Computer Assisted Tests in village apparatus selection has proven effective in supporting the improvement of the quality of village apparatus human resources and strengthening public trust in the village government recruitment process
