Abstract

Cooperatives are member-based microfinance institutions that play a vital role in improving community welfare through savings and loans and economic empowerment. In Ngawi Regency, XYZ cooperatives face the challenge of low financial literacy among their members, affecting financial decision-making and cooperative operations. This community service program focuses on strengthening the financial literacy of cooperative members through participatory learning and mentoring activities. The program's methods included initial observation, interactive workshops, and assessments of the level of understanding of administrators and members before and after the program. The results showed a significant improvement in members' financial management skills, particularly in budgeting, saving discipline, and the productive use of loans. This program enhances members' financial awareness and supports the cooperative's goal of building an economically empowered and financially literate community.
