THE EFFECT OF APPLYING EGG SHELL BIODEFERTILIZER AND PLANTING SPATIAL SETTINGS ON THE GROWTH AND PRODUCTION OF LALAPAN EGGPLANT (Solanum melongena L.)

Study This done on land owned by farmers in Sukowiyono 1 Hamlet, Sukowiyono Village , Padas District , Ngawi Regency , East Java Province . Research implemented from March to May 2025. The method used is Randomized Block Design ( RAK) factorial pattern . First factor that is factor distance planting (J1 = 30×50 cm, J2 = 30×60 cm, J3 = 30×70 cm) and the factor second is the dose fertilizer biological shell eggs (P0 = 0 ml, P1 = 100 ml, P2 = 200 ml, P3 = 300 ml) with three repetitions . Then to be continued with Duncan's 5% test.
Based on results research , high plant J2 treatment resulted in amount highest at the age of 14 Hst , while P2 was highest at the age of 28 Hst and 42 Hst . Parameters for the number of leaf P2 treatment shows results the most on 14 Hst , as well as treatment P3 and J3 showed results most at the age of 28 Hst , while P3, J2 and combination treatments P2J2 treatment shows results the most at the age of 42 Hst . Parameters of the number of fruit J3 treatment shows results the most at the age of 62 Hst . Weight parameters fruit P1 treatment shows results heaviest at age 62 Hst .
In a way overall , fertilizer biological shell egg effective increase growth vegetative and mass fruit , while arrangement distance planting more dominant influence growth beginning and formation fruit . Combination second treatment proven each other complete in increase productivity plant eggplant fresh vegetables .
