Flip-flop circuits are fundamental electronic systems widely applied in digital logic, signal indicators, and basic memory elements. This research aims to analyze the blinking performance of an LED flip-flop circuit based on a bistable multivibrator and to examine the effect of capacitor value variations on the blinking speed. The method used was an experimental laboratory-based approach by modifying capacitor values and observing the switching period of LEDs. The results indicate that larger capacitance values significantly slow down the charging and discharging process, resulting in longer blinking periods. Conversely, smaller capacitance values produce faster blinking and, in some cases, unstable operation. These findings are consistent with classical RC time-constant theory and demonstrate that the blinking speed of a flip-flop circuit can be controlled by selecting appropriate capacitor and resistor values.
