PENGARUH LALU LINTAS HARIAN TERHADAP KERUSAKAN JALAN PADA RUAS JALAN KABUPATEN NGAWI

Abstract

Many road networks are damaged, caused by traffic factors which are increasing in number every day based on field survey data conducted by researchers. This becomes a problem of inconvenience for road users, such as slowing travel time, accidents, congestion, and other factors, so a research is held to take into account traffic factors in road planning with the aim of knowing the extent of the influence of traffic on highway construction. . In this study, the authors wanted to know the relationship between the level of road damage and traffic factors using the Bina Marga Method in 2017 and the Indonesian Road Pavement Design Manual (MDP 2020) in determining the type of road repair. Through a visual survey based on the Bina Marga method (2017), the author found a correlation regarding the relationship between traffic factors and road damage which was then described empirically using the Indonesian Road Pavement Design Manual (MDP 2020). In this study, the author uses the Indonesian Road Pavement Design Manual (MDP 2020) method, in determining the thickness of the planned pavement, for the Jrubong - Paron road in Ngawi Regency with an observed road length of 10 Km, obtained an analysis of road repairs as follows, the selection of repairs is Road Structure Improvement.
