Abstract

Environmental pollution originating from garbage and waste produced by the tempeh industry, is an environmental problem that needs to be solved. Moreover, the volume of waste and tempeh industry waste is always produced every day, with a large amount. Departing from the description above, the author is interested in conducting research entitled "The Obedience of Industrial Business Actors in Managing Domestic Waste Based on Regional Regulations in Ngawi Regency". Research data sources use primary data obtained through interviews and observations, and are also supported by secondary data obtained through documentation and literature studies. Based on the research, it can be concluded that: a) Tempeh Industry waste management in Karangtengah Prandon Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency, is carried out in stages: Collection, Sorting or Separation, Transportation, and Waste Management; b) In principle, only a small number of tempeh industry players obey or implement the provisions in the Regional Regulations of Ngawi Regency, most of the provisions have not been implemented or
even violated by tempeh home industry owners.
