Abstract

Marriage is an effort to create "two into one". But the unification process will never be separated from the structure that surrounds the marriage. In the continuation of the next problem, it is this structure that provides the possibility and various opportunities for the formation of patriarchal hegemony. Men dominate women by using social norms and religious rules to strengthen these actions. In general, patriarchy itself is an attitude of domination of women and the natural world around them by a man. The husband then has absolute power to manage his own household.

In this life, every human being certainly really needs something called love and a friend. To fulfill this, the role of a partner is very necessary. With a partner beside us, in living life there will be no feeling of loneliness because there is a figure beside us who always accompanies us and is a place to share both joy and sorrow. Role functions will determine individual duties and obligations in a harmonious family.
